So today I'm doing a post on being confident and brave. So being brave is being your best self and being happy with the person that you are. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent!
I have visited so many websites and seen so many videos on different girls' point of view and opinion about how to be confident. But I have created my own list of tips of how to be confident:
--- Shoulders back! As my great-grandmother always said: "Shoulders back, sick those boobies out. Nothing worse than a tall girl who slouches!!!" Walk as if you were a model on the runway of the latest Chanel fashion show in Paris. But watch out don't have a big ego just be fun and outgoing.
--- Embrace who you are! Don't shut out the person you are, if you like wearing collars and glasses or yellow socks with a turquoise shirt, go for it. If people talk badly about you behind you behind your back, forget it, they'll never be as awesome as you!!!
--- JUMP!!! When you feel to shy to talk to the boy you like or you're scared to try something new, just got for it, tell yourself that nothing bad can happen. If you get a bad grade, just talk about or even laugh. I knows it sounds crazy 😂 but it's true, it's actually not that bad. The worst has happened, what are you going to do?
--- Be funny or tell jokes. Did you know that laughing for 45 minutes a day is actually really good for you?
--- Live a fun life. Read books and work hard in school. I'm saying don't care about things TOO much. If you feel like squealing in the middle of the courtyard at school because you got a good grade or if you feel like dancing in the morning when you wake up to an awesome jam: GO FOR IT!!!!!
--- Listen to music. There's nothing better than imagining your own perfect little world while listening to a cool song.
--- Look at yourself in the mirror every once in a while and make a silly face! It's funny and goofy. Just do it to remind yourself how cool you can be!
So Sassies, at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is your happiness. Forget your grades, the mean girls at school and the boy who rejected you, they are SOOO not worth your time!
I hope you found this post helpful because honestly we girls often forget the true meaning of bravery and confidence, so once you are finished reading this post, I would like you to get up and dance a jig!
Xoxo,
Swissy&Sassy
